(Cabinet Member with Special Responsibility Councillor Kerr)

The Chief Executive submitted a report advising Cabinet of progress with the development of a pay and grading structure since its last meeting on 7^th October 2008. The Chief Executive updated Cabinet on the decision taken by Personnel Committee held on the previous day.

It was moved by Councillor Kerr and seconded by Councillor Archer:-

“That the recommendation, as set out in the report, be approved.”

Members then voted as follows:-

(1)     That progress be noted.

Reasons for making the decision:

Regular update reports on the development of a pay and grading structure are noted by Cabinet to ensure that Cabinet is kept informed of progress.
