Notice of Intention to Conduct Business in Private

 

 

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 that the following item is likely to be considered in private:

 

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

 

The reason that the item is likely to be considered in private is that it will involve the disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

 

(3)              Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding the information).

Anticipated restriction: Part exempt  - view reasons

Explanation of anticipated restriction:
Whilst the report is public it contains an exempt appendix and in
accordance with the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements)
(Meetings and Access to Information (England) Regulations
2012, the Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee
has agreed to this matter being considered under urgency
provisions if Cabinet Members need to move into private session
to consider the exempt appendix.
The information will be exempt by virtue of paragraph 3
(information relating to the Council’s commercial and contractual
interests) and paragraph 5 (Information in respect of which a
claim to legal professional privilege could be maintained in legal
proceedings) of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act
1972.
