Are there any climate change implications?: As part of the wider decarbonisation approach, officers are exploring options to reduce costs, improve energy independence and financial resilience by installing solar PV. This has included a review of small roof-mounted solar PV instillations on buildings within the council’s property portfolio and larger scale renewable energy generation. The Gateway solar array proposals are part of this work.
