Lancaster City District Heating Feasibility

Officers are seeking Cabinet support to pursue moving forward with feasibility work for developing district heating systems across the Lancaster district. An initial high level study commissioned by BEIS for the Lancaster area in 2019 showed that in at least some districts, they are likely to be viable. Detailed feasibility work is now required to decide which solutions would work best in each area of the district.
