As part of its response to COVID-19, the
Government has provided local authorities in England with
£500 million of new grant funding to support economically
vulnerable people and households in their local area.
Lancaster City Council has received £1.425m in hardship
funding and the Government has provided guidance on how it should
be spent.
This report sets out the options for using the fund and seeks
Cabinet Member approval of targeted spending plans.
