Transport Assessment to support Lancaster Local Plan

Key decision to endorse the appointment of a consultant to undertake a Transport Assessment for the Lancaster Local Plan. The assessment forms an essential part of the evidence base for the Local Plan enabling a full understanding of current and interim highway capacity and mitigation required to support the allocations proposed for development. The national Planning Practice Guidance requires an assessment to be carried out in the preparation of a Local Plan (paragraphs 001 to 012).
