Awarding of Stray Dog Kennelling Contract

The council has a duty to seize and kennel stray dogs found within the district. The kennelling and out-of-hours collection of strays is carried out by an external contractor and the current three-year Stray Dog Kennelling Contract terminates on 31 March 2016. The tendering process for the next contract has commenced and awarding the contract is a Key Decision on account of the value of the contract.
