Response to Designation as Best Value Planning Authority

The Council needs to decide how to respond to being designated as a Best Value Planning Authority for Development Control Performance. This means that it is listed with 56 other authorities as needing to improve to meet the Government’s minimum performance standards for determining planning applications. It must devise an action plan to ensure that performance returns to the standards and can be maintained.
