Consultation process
South Lodge is currently untenanted. Basic
consultation has been undertaken with the ward Councillors for this
property who have been notified of the proposal and the reasons for
such. Public Realm and Property Services have also been consulted
to understand the future requirements specifically in relation to
continued access to the Park for Council vehicles and others who
enjoy the park area. It is noted that Friends of Greaves Park
currently utilise the upper section of the garden, collecting and
selling apples from trees situated within such, however it is not
expected that maintenance of the upper portion of the garden can be
maintained should it be excluded from the sale.
