Report of Licensing Manager

The Licensing Manager presented a report to enable members to consider what action, if any, to take in respect of Mr. Kempster’s hackney carriage driver’s licence.

Details of the individual case are set out in exempt minute no. 66, in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972.

It was proposed by Councillor Johnson and seconded by Councillor Day: -

“That Mr. Kempster’s hackney carriage driver’s licence be suspended for a period of 14 days from 4 January 2011.”

Upon being put to the vote 3 members voted in favour of the proposition, and 1 member voted against, with 1 abstention whereupon the Chairman declared the proposition to be carried. 

Resolved:

That Mr. Kempster’s hackney carriage driver’s licence be suspended for a period of 14 days from 4 January 2011.
