Are there any climate change implications?: Options are being reviewed for converting large proportions of the fleet to electric, with plans to purchase electric panel vans in 20/21. Unfortunately, at this present time, there are no electric sweepers that meet the required specification. Sweepers are replaced every 4-5 years, so it is anticipated that there will be electric alternatives later down the line, as the market develops.
