Appointment of Chairman

Minutes:

It was proposed by Councillor Day and seconded by Councillor Chadwick:

 

“That Councillor Wade be appointed Chairman of the Gambling Act Sub-Committee for the Municipal Year 2006/07.”

 

Upon being put to the vote, Members voted unanimously in favour of the proposition.

 

Resolved:

 

That Councillor Wade be appointed Chairman of the Gaming Act Sub-Committee for the Municipal Year 2006/07.

Terms of Reference

Members are asked to note the Sub-Committee’s Terms of Reference:

 

With regard to premises licensed under the Licensing Act 2003 for the sale or supply of alcohol:

 

1.         To determine new applications under Section 34 of the Gaming Act 1968, which if granted would result in there being more than two machines per premises.

 

2.         To determine new applications under Section 16 of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976.

 

3.         To determine all applications under Section 6 of the Gaming Act 1968.

Minutes:

Members accepted the Terms of Reference for the Gaming Act Sub-Committee.

Application for Gaming Machines - Marina Caravan Park pdf icon PDF 13 KB

Report of the Head of Licensing and Human Resources 

Minutes:

Members considered an application from Marina Caravan Park for a permit for four gaming machines to be used within the entertainment section of the site’s complex.

 

It was proposed by Councillor Jones and seconded by Councillor Chadwick:

 

“That the application from Marina Caravan Park for a permit for four gaming machines be granted.”

 

Upon being put to the vote, Members voted unanimously in favour of the proposition.

 

Resolved:

 

That the application from Marina Caravan Park for a permit for four gaming machines be granted.

Minutes:

Members considered an application from Venture Caravan Park for a permit for eight gaming machines to be used within the entertainment section of the site’s complex.

 

It was proposed by Councillor Chadwick and seconded by Councillor Day:

 

“That the application from Venture Caravan Park for a permit for eight gaming machines be granted.”

 

Upon being put to the vote, Members voted unanimously in favour of the proposition.
