principal housing regeneration schemes in the West End; Bold Street
and Chatsworth Gardens. The report considers external financial
opportunities to realise these schemes and the corresponding
financial implications to the council, including the £1.9M
offer of external funding to bring empty homes in the West End back
into use.

Extensive cosultation has been carried out to
develop the projects and proposals during the Masterplan and at the
time of the West End Project that led to both Bold Street and
Chatsworth Gardens being initiated.
Further consultation has been through the recently established
