Appeals Committee
Composition:
Seven Councillors in political balance. Chair appointed by Council
annually.
All members of the Committee and Councillors attending as
substitutes, must have attended a training session on determining
appeals.
Members of the Planning Regulatory Committee must
not sit on the Appeals Committee to decide formal objections to
Tree Preservation Orders if they have previously considered a
directly-related planning
application.
Terms
of Reference:

The determination of an appeal against any decision
made by, or on behalf, of the Council, which does not fall within
the Terms of Reference of any other Committee.
